The Leprosy Mission


The Leprosy Mission of England & Wales is a Christian charity and development organisation working in around 12 countries worldwide. It's aim is to eradicate the causes and consequences of leprosy. Leprosy is a human rights issue and the work of The Leprosy Mission goes beyond medical cure and treatment to include education, advocacy, rehabilitation and community regeneration.

Rainbow of Hope

Rainbow of Hope is a Cardiff based Christian charity working with the homeless, disadvantaged and asylum seekers in the city. It provides food, drink and clothing in the city centre every night of the year. It also provides food parcels for families in need and organises fellowship meals each weekday lunchtimes at its ARK drop in centre.

The Trek is on!

After lots of phone calls and emails I have finally got the green light.  Nepal here I come!

I have been provided with a 14 week training schedule.  It looks daunting but I am raring to go.  I have already completed a few short walks around Roath park lake so I am feeling confident that I can get in shape for my Trek of Hope.

Still a lot to organise too but I will keep you all posted with my progress.
