The Leprosy Mission


The Leprosy Mission of England & Wales is a Christian charity and development organisation working in around 12 countries worldwide. It's aim is to eradicate the causes and consequences of leprosy. Leprosy is a human rights issue and the work of The Leprosy Mission goes beyond medical cure and treatment to include education, advocacy, rehabilitation and community regeneration.

Rainbow of Hope

Rainbow of Hope is a Cardiff based Christian charity working with the homeless, disadvantaged and asylum seekers in the city. It provides food, drink and clothing in the city centre every night of the year. It also provides food parcels for families in need and organises fellowship meals each weekday lunchtimes at its ARK drop in centre.

My last big training walk before I go!

Well I've finally finished my last big training trek with a wonderful 6 hour walk in the Beacons. For this last trek I explored an area I had not seen before and I found this beautiful stream.

My training is now winding down.  I have only to do short walks around Roath Park Lake.  I mustn't over do it before I leave for Nepal on Monday.
